History
FairWay Elevator Company is owned by four extraordinary men who have a long history in the elevator industry. The company was founded in 1993 by Dan Killion, Art Peterson, and Bill Killion, all of whom were field mechanics and members of the Local #5 I.U.E.C. Each of them saw a crucial need for an elevator company that was dedicated to their customers. Since they had been in the business for many years prior to the start of FairWay, they knew that there was a lack of good service being provided. They wanted a company that could provide personalized service in order to meet individual needs in a FairWay.
In the year 2004, Rudy Boyance joined the company bringing financial and administrative expertise. Rudy came into the elevator industry in 1983 as the Controller for a local field service company. In 1991 he founded Digital Elevator Company, a field service company, serving as President until it's sale to Otis Elevator. Otis then asked him to be CFO of CemcoLift, one of their manufacturing plants.
Today, FairWay Elevator is one of the largest independently owned and operated elevator companies in the Tri-State region. We are the premier independent elevator company in Philadelphia.
